Be the change you want to see

Today, listening to people, to the news, it’s clear that our world, the planet, is going through a period of massive change. Weather patterns are extreme; politically and in the corporate world the status quo is being challenged. People feel unsettled. We see anger, violence, fear, pain. And… there are also some who quietly go about helping others in need, doing what they can to make the world a better place, working towards the greater good.

Have you ever stopped to look at the bigger picture and ask why the turmoil is occurring? What is the opportunity?

We’ve heard the expression “Be the change you want to see in the world”.

The question is …

how are you taking responsibility to be the change you want to see?

If you’re perpetually see-sawing – one minute up, the next down, your thoughts and emotions all over the place – if you go round and round in circles, continually stressed, making little progress – what are you doing to change the pattern?

Whatever our energy, it has an impact on everything around us. Our choices, our actions, our thoughts and emotions affect others.

If we care about our world…what can we do?

The world is our mirror, so what can you see being reflected to you today? Understand your energy, the elements of your makeup, and you can take responsibility for any inner turmoil. If you are impatient or impulsive, angry or tend to sacrifice, stubborn or disorganised, indecisive or get distracted… you have the resources within you to help you to feel strong and steady and be the eye of the storm.
