Hello, and welcome to my blog. This is the first time I’ve written a blog. I feel excited with that fluttery sense of butterflies in my tummy. D’you know what I mean?
I’ve never had any (conscious) ambition to be a writer. Two years ago however my intuition started to suggest that this was something I might do. I knew… I knew I was going to write; and I had no inkling what the writing might be about.
How much are you in touch with your intuition? How do you define the word ‘intuition”…what does it mean to you?
How does it come to you…is it visual or auditory? Do you get it by way of dreams? Or, is it perhaps simply a hunch? Does it come through exploring your feelings, asking what they are showing? What else?
How do you recognise it? How is it different from what your mind says – or your heart?
For me, it’s about listening to myself, my Higher Self. I recognise it as being calm, knowing, and supportive. I see it as a message from my soul.
More importantly, perhaps, what do you do with your intuition? Do you use it to make decisions, serve your creativity…? How often do you trust and act on your intuition?
When we connect to the diamond within our heart, we listen to our intuition, we trust in it.
Here’s a mantra that I’ve found from my spiritual study that supports me in trusting my intuition. I know you can find your own mantra. And here is how you can use it.
Sit in a quiet spot with no distractions. Relax and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths. Say these words to yourself – or any other mantra you choose –
“I step forward with total trust in self, spirit and the joy of that connection knowing that I have everything I need.”
Now ask your soul what it wants you to know and listen for the answer.
Get into the habit of taking time each day to communicate with your soul, your intuition. You will grow to recognise when your soul is speaking with you.
